The mission of Alaska for Heroes is to honor true heroes from all walks of life, who have given their all to save lives, ensure the safety of others, battled diseases, helped others by their sacrifices of themselves or what they have. We will not be limited to any one service or organization but will be open to anyone we consider a true hero, no matter where they are from.
The selection process will be made by applications, which will be looked at by the board and awarded by merit.
We will honor them with a trip to Alaska, to do what they want from a list of activities we will provide. Length of trip may vary. Some of these activities will include, but not be limited to: fishing, site seeing, bear viewing, atv adventures, northern lights viewing, visiting hot springs, camping, etc.
We will pay all expenses pertaining to their trip, including but not limited to: airfare, lodging, food, activities, etc. Expenses not included will be, but not limited to, alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, marijuana, or any unlawful product.
In some cases, where a hero’s needs at home are more important than a trip, we will help in any legal way that best fit their needs.
At this time, we will not be offering any hunting trips. This could change in the future.
